Whilst the Government has now removed remaining restrictions in England, there are still steps you can take to reduce the risk of catching and spreading Covid-19:-
- Get vaccinated (Suffolk and North East Essex – Walk-In Covid Vaccination Clinic)
- Let fresh air in if meeting indoors, or meet outside
- Consider wearing a face covering in crowded, enclosed spaces

What happens if my child is off school isolating?
If your child is isolating at home you must inform the Academy office. A record of the first date of absence and the planned return date (if known) will be kept. If your child does not have access to reliable IT facilities (a laptop and good internet connection), then please make this known at the time you report your child’s absence and paper copies of work will be sent to your home address.
If your child does have access to the IT facilities stated above, your child’s class teachers will set work via Google Classroom. Please follow this guide on how to access Google Classroom: https://youtu.be/IRc0y1dLrrw
Should you have any concerns, questions or queries regarding work being completed at home, please contact Mr Newstead via the Academy office.
