Supporting your Child

Your child is at the heart of everything we do at Holbrook Academy and we are proud of the relationships we build and maintain between school and families.  These relationships, based on mutual trust and understanding, allow communication to flow seamlessly in both directions.

We welcome parents’ and carers’ input into your children’s time here at Holbrook and have various ways in which we gather your feedback in order that we continue to provide the best possible education for the students in our care.

Initially, your child’s form tutor should be the first port of call.  Thereafter, please contact a member of the Pastoral team :-

  • Mr Anstee-Parry – Deputy Headteacher
  • Mr Le Marrec – Behaviour Manager
  • Miss Cocker – Behaviour Support Assistant

During form time each morning, form tutors will ensure students receive messages about the week ahead, check on student wellbeing and any other issues and complete uniform and equipment checks.

Students will also be able to make any self-referrals for support by completing a form and placing it in a Help Box. Help Boxes are positioned around the school and will be regularly checked.  Our Pastoral team is available to support students and families as needed.
