Holbrook Academy is seeking an inspirational, nurturing and enthusiastic Teacher of Spanish and French to join its languages department. The successful candidate will have a love of their subject and experience of teaching Spanish and French to KS3 and KS4.
They will be able to foster confidence and self-belief in students to choose to study a language beyond KS3.
We welcome applications from both experienced candidates and NQTs. If you are an NQT, this supportive environment would make for an ideal first post.
Holbrook Academy is a small secondary school for pupils aged 11-16 located in the beautiful Suffolk countryside, just a short drive from the county town of Ipswich, with quick access to both the A14 and A12. At our last Ofsted inspection (February 2019) we were judged ‘Good’ across all aspects.

We are in the process of recruiting people to act as invigilators, scribes and readers for our students during their external exams, mock exams and controlled assessments.
Hours will be offered on an ad hoc basis, primarily in May and June.
This work can be very rewarding: the successful applicants will make a genuine contribution to the success of both the school and individual students.
