Teacher of Computer Science / i Media (0.8)

We are looking for a high calibre and enthusiastic teacher of Computer Science / Creative iMedia for September 2022 for 4 days a week.

You will have the ability to inspire and encourage students to enjoy their learning, leading to a desire to achieve their highest potential. You will hold a passion for your subject and will have a creative, inspirational approach to delivering the curriculum.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic and dedicated teacher to join the well-established English team. The department prides itself on being welcoming, supportive and willing to go the extra-mile for our students.

The successful candidate will teach across the age and ability range (Key Stages 3 and 4). The position would suit an experienced candidate or a newly qualified teacher.  Knowledge of AQA English Language and Literature is desirable.

Teaching Assistants (Full / Part time)

Closing date: Monday 23rd May 2022

Point 3 – £18,562 pro rata per annum (38 weeks)

Required as soon as possible.

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our hardworking and friendly team to support students with their learning and behaviour needs. The positions will involve working with individual students and small groups of students across all curriculum areas.

Hours to be worked will be between 8.15am – 3.30pm.

You will need to have a minimum grade C for English and Maths.

Previous experience of working with children in an educational setting is preferable.

Examination Invigilators

Closing date: Friday 29th April 2022

Required immediately to assist the Examination Officer in the running and supervision of internal and external examinations.

Hours will be offered on an ad hoc basis, primarily in December, May and June. Ideally, applicants should be available for at least 5 morning or afternoon sessions a week. Sessions are potentially 8.30am-12.15pm and 1pm-4.45pm.

The successful candidates will:

  • have experience in basic administration
  • be reliable and punctual
  • demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • work well as a team as well has have the initiative and confidence to work on their own
  • possess good communication skills
  • be able to follow instructions and work within a strict set of regulations
  • work with calmness and flexibility.

Full training will be given.

Pay – £10.65 per hour
