We are looking for an inspirational Head of Food Studies, teaching KS3 Food Studies and GCSE Food Preparation & Nutrition. Under the current timetable, there are no lessons on Friday afternoons.
You should
- be an excellent classroom practitioner with a commitment to supporting students to achieve their full potential;
- deliver high quality lessons on a consistent basis;
- be a committed teacher with high levels of professionalism and the desire to develop and enhance the opportunities provided for our students;
- manage behaviour effectively by praising and sanctioning appropriately and in line with Academy guidelines;
- have a knowledge of Food Hygiene regulations (preferably a Level 2 Food Safety qualification as a minimum) and a good knowledge of safety in a practical environment.
