Parents & Carers
The links on the left will help you find out more about how you can support your child through their time at Holbrook – from making sure they are looking smart, in the right uniform, through to applying for pupil premium funds.
We keep all parents and carers informed of their student’s progress through Go4Schools – a really simple and easy to use online tracker. You can also see what homework your child has been given each day and when it is due in with our simple ShowMyHomework site. Links to both can be found on our Home Page.
We have a friendly Parents’ Forum for all parents to join, which meets twice a term and is always a lively and enjoyable evening for exchanging ideas about how to make the school even better and to feedback on what’s working from a parent’s point of view. Parents are also tremendously supportive in our fundraising group, the Holbrook Academy Association, and many help out throughout the year with clubs, trips and special events. We also love to see as many parents as possible at our Summer Soiree, our Autumn Open Evening and, of course, at our fantastic annual school play.
We have regular Parent/Teacher evenings for all year groups, but if you ever have any concerns or worries you can always contact your child’s form teacher or subject teacher to chat through the issues and we will work together to sort things out.
We always want to hear from parents, so please do email or write with your feedback – good and bad!
