Governors monitor classroom progress

May 2015: Holbrook Academy governors have been conducting a series of ‘Learning Walks’ around the school. They watched preparations for GCSE exams and sat in on lessons on most subjects. They were also updated on the latest progress monitoring system by Assistant Headteacher, Mr Hart.┬áChair, Tim Fenton said: “We were all very impressed by the quiet, purposeful atmosphere during lessons. I think our GCSE preparation this year has been the best yet. Ahead of one maths exam most students and staff were in the school on a Sunday morning. Their efforts plus those of the parents involved should be applauded.”
